City of Opelika, Al - City Government
The proposed Rental Tax Ordinance will be on the October 20 Opelika City Council agenda. Ahead of the meeting, we’re sharing a Fact Sheet explaining the proposed requirements and costs.
We know that the City of Opelika is growing. As a result, many times municipal policies must evolve. The rental market today in Opelika includes many different forms of rental activity like residential rental, commercial rental, storage facilities, and short-term rentals.
We believe in planning for growth rather than simply reacting to it. We love this community, and that commitment carries a responsibility to make thoughtful decisions today that protect our quality of life for years to come.
