Good telephone communication skills

Capable of passing drug screen and background check
Valid driver's license

St. Landry Parish Communications District E-911, along with Training Instructor Jon’Terrinee’ Lewis, hosted an APCO Public Safety Telecommunicator 1, 7th Edition class, where several Dispatchers from St Landry Parish law enforcement agencies were certified. This certification holds these Communication Officers to APCO’s highest standards in Public Safety.

In observance of the Juneteenth Holiday, all St. Landry Parish Government offices will be closed on Friday, June 19th.

In preparation for expected weather conditions, St. Landry Parish Government will make sandbags available to residents on Friday, June 12.

In preparation for the severe weather expected in our area, St. Landry Parish Government will make sandbags available to residents beginning Thursday, May 21st - Friday, May 22nd, at 7:00 AM - 6:00 PM.

🚧 PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT – Meghan Drive Culvert Replacement Project 🚧
Attention residents! The Ward One Drainage District will be conducting a culvert replacement project on Meghan Drive, located approximately 0.85 miles east of the intersection of LA Hwy 182 and Meghan Drive.
📅 Project Dates: Friday, February 20, 2025 – Tuesday, February 24, 2025
⏱️ We anticipate completing the work sooner, but the full 5-day window has been reserved in the event of any delays.
đź”§ What's happening?
Three existing 18" metal pipes will be replaced with a single 36" reinforced concrete pipe arch (RCPA), along with asphalt road and erosion repairs.
đźš— Traffic Impact:
One lane of traffic will be maintained at all times for local traffic only. Temporary road closure signage will be posted along Meghan Drive for the duration of the project. This work will affect approximately 18 residents at the east end of Meghan Drive.
