Henderson County, IL
Applications for Permanent Vote by Mail Status were mailed Thursday, August 20, 2026.
These new applications provide an additional choice to receive a Vote by Mail Ballot for a single election, which in this case, is the November 3, 2026 General Election. If you wish to Vote by Mail again in another future election, you will need to contact the County Clerk's office for an application during the appropriate application period.
You may also choose to opt-out of the Application for Permanent Vote by Mail Status and be removed from receiving any future Permanent Vote by Mail notices required by Illinois Statute. Choosing to opt-out does not mean you cannot vote by mail in the upcoming election or future elections, or opt to apply for permanent vote by mail status in the future. To change your status at any time, or to request a vote by mail ballot for a single election, please contact the office at the number below.
If you do not complete and return your form, you will continue to receive this mailing biennially.
If you have already completed an Application for Permanent Vote by Mail Status, you will not be receiving this mailing.
If you have not already completed the application, but did not receive one, please contact our office at the number below to check on the status of your voter registration. You can also check your voter registration status at:
