He just received notice from the State Fire Marshal that the grant he applied for some badly needed radios, gear, and a roof saw was accepted.

Winds gusting up to 30 mph combined with warm temperatures and low humidity levels will create an elevated fire risk today. Humidity levels of 25 to 35 percent will be seen this afternoon in spite of the recent green up. Avoid or delay any burning today.
