🚒🏃CALLING ALL SPONSORS 🚒🏃

The 17th annual Oradell 5K Race and 1 Mile Fun Run is coming up Saturday, October 10, at Memorial Field. This event is a partnership between the Oradell Fire Department and the Oradell Kids Foundation, and it directly funds scholarships, school mini grants, the Junior Firefighter Program, fire prevention materials, and youth sports sponsorships across Oradell.

We are looking for sponsors to help make this year a success. Sponsoring is a great way to support your community and the Oradell Fire Department at the same time, and your business gets recognition through race signage, the website, and more depending on your sponsorship level.

Interested? Reach out or visit the sponsor form: https://www.oradellkids.org/5k-sponsor-form

Sponsorship deadline is September 7.

Thank you for considering it. See you at the race.

🔥📷 New Thermal Imaging Cameras Acquired📷🔥

The Oradell Fire Department has received a FEMA Assistance to Firefighters Grant (AFG) to replace our aging thermal imaging cameras, or TICs. These cameras allow firefighters to see through smoke and darkness, helping locate victims and hot spots faster during a fire.

Nine new cameras have now been placed into frontline service across our apparatus, replacing all of our older units.

This is one more example of Oradell Fire Department's strong commitment to pursuing grant funding, and our continued success with the FEMA AFG program in particular.

A special thank you to our Grant Committee Members whose work before and after receiving the grant made this upgrade possible.

🚨🔥 4th Alarm Structure Fire – Demarest🔥🚨

Earlier this week, on Tuesday, Tower 21 responded to Demarest for a 4th alarm structure fire. Tower 21 assisted with overhaul, meaning crews worked to fully extinguish any remaining hot spots and check for hidden fire inside walls and ceilings, and helped maintain scene safety. Tower 21 was on scene for about two hours.
