Thanks to all who helped make this year's Pancake Breakfast a success once again: All our sponsors and supporters, the Bergen Catholic Baseball team (freshmen), our residents who continue to show up year after year, and to Bergen Catholic HS for allowing us to host our major fundraiser each year. And a big thanks to our kitchen volunteers Richard and Jaden. We were also happy to welcome several Oradell Council members with their families.

Thank you, Oradell! Your support means so much to us. It enables us to, in turn, provide financial support to Lions-approved charities as well as local organizations such as the Oradell Library and Oradell Volunteer Fire Department. A huge thank-you for coming out for our first Pancake Breakfast since 2019.

Thanks so much to all who responded so generously to this year's Appeal. It looks like another year where we cannot do Pancake Breakfast, so the Appeal is even more crucial than ever.

Unfortunately we must announce that this year's Pancake Breakfast has been canceled due to COVID. We would like to express the heartfelt thanks, from every member of the Lions, for the magnificent response to this year's Appeal. Despite not being able to run our biggest fundraiser for now two years in a row, we are able to continue to financially support our selected charities and local organizations.

The Lions are once again accepting old eyeglasses and hearing aids. The receptacle near the Oradell Library will be operational shortly.

Lions Club of Oradell would like to thank the following businesses for their ad support for our canceled Pancake Breakfast 2020: Bonaldi Agency, Fenner & Esler, Town & Country Landscaping, Gramkow Carnevale Seifert LLC, Joe Colella, Kinderkamack Hot Bagels, Liberty Subaru, Midland Cleaners, Oradell Service Center, ProActive Foot & Ankle, Soprano's Pizza and Taste of Greece. Their generosity will be acknowledged for next year's Pancake Breakfast or, if we are able, perhaps a pasta dinner this fall (which we have never done before!). Pancake is our most substantial fundraiser and, without it this year, our ability to financially support our charities has been radically compromised. Please give these businesses YOUR business!

Oradell Lions ordered, through Schreiber's, meals for health care staff at Hackensack Hospital. The Club also sent a load of snacks (power bars, cookies) from Costco to the command center at Holy Name Hospital. To health care personnel and local eateries, thanks for keeping us all going!
