The Orange Beach Aquatics Center is currently seeking a contract water fitness substitute instructor! If you are an enthusiastic, certified professional who would like to lead engaging aquatic fitness classes for our community, we want to hear from you!
What You'll Do:
-Lead safe, motivating, and effective water fitness classes for participants of varying fitness levels.
-Create and deliver your own class plans and routines.
-Foster a welcoming, positive, and encouraging class environment.
-Maintain a professional presence and prioritize participant safety during each session.
Requirements:
-Background check
-Current water fitness certification
-Proof of insurance with the City of Orange Beach named as an additionally insured party (required upon selection for contract)
-Valid business license (required upon selection for contract)
Preferred Qualifications:
-One year of experience leading group water fitness classes.
-Strong communication skills and the ability to engage participants of all ages and abilities.
Contract Details:
-This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity.
-Compensation is on a per-class basis.
-Contractors are responsible for maintaining their own certifications, insurance, business license, and tax obligations.
-Scheduling is based on mutually agreed-upon class times and participant demand.
