How adorable!
Two days old. Cold. Hungry. Crying.
That’s how these bottle babies were found this week — discovered by our local firefighters during a training exercise. Instead of walking past, they scooped them up, kept them warm, and got them straight to us.
Under normal circumstances, we never kit‑nap. If there’s any chance a mother cat is coming back, we leave the babies exactly where they are and monitor. But with loud equipment, constant movement, and an active training scene, it was a long shot that their mother would return. These tiny newborns needed immediate help, and thanks to the firefighters’ quick thinking, they got it.
At just 48 hours old, these babies needed care every two hours around the clock. Feedings, warming, stimulation, monitoring — the whole newborn‑kitten marathon. And thanks to our incredible team and this community, they got exactly what they needed.
Today, we’re thrilled to share the update everyone has been hoping for:
They’re safe. They’re thriving. And they’re now with wonderful foster families who are helping them grow bigger and stronger every single day.
