Sioux County residents are invited to join PathOne Data Centers for a virtual community information meeting on Monday, August 17 at 5:30 p.m. Central.

They will explain how data center projects are evaluated, developed, and operated; discuss common community questions; and leave plenty of time for open Q&A.

PathOne Data Centers will be hosting an informational meeting on Monday, August 10 from 5:30-7:30 pm. Doors will open at 5 pm. The meeting will be held at the Sioux County Courthouse 2nd Floor Courtroom at 210 Central Ave SW, Orange City. Attendance will be limited to 150 people due to room capacity.

They will be covering:
• Who we are and why Sioux County
• What a data center is (and isn't)
• How data centers are built and operated
• Impacts (power, water, noise, construction)
• Economic benefits and community impact (jobs, taxes, community benefits)
• Project timeline

They will leave plenty of time for questions and open discussion.
You don't have to support the project to attend. Whether you're supportive, skeptical, or simply want accurate information before forming your own opinion, you're welcome.
We believe communities deserve facts, transparency, and respectful conversations. We hope you'll join us.

Summer is busy! Remember if your teen is ready to take the written test for a driver's permit, you may be able to get that done at home. Teens may take the test up to 30 days before their 14th birthday and can come in on their birthday with the appropriate documents to receive their permit. It is recommended to make an appointment with our office. No appointments or transactions are taken after 4:00pm
