The newest addition to our fleet (OES WT-52) was deployed last night to the Hog Fire in the Pine Flat area.

The OES (Office of Emergency Services) water tender is part of a powerful statewide system managed by Cal OES to provide support during major emergencies.

Orange Cove Fire Protection District is proud to be part of this mutual aid network, ready to respond to both local and state-wide calls for help. This partnership means greater resources for our community and beyond, ensuring safety when it matters most.

Orange Cove Fire District members greeted firefighters from Jalisco Mexico today. They are coming from Vancouver Washington on the way back to Mexico. We had an opportunity to talk about the fire service and also donate much needed equipment to our fire service partners from Mexico.

Today Orange Cove Fire District assisted Valley ROP with a fun day of training for its students. Orange Cove Fire District is a huge supporter of Valley ROP and frequently hires its students as paid call fire fighters.

Training Week for OCFPD

Driver operator training for our new and current drivers. Tonight crews covered mechanical operations and driving courses.

Tuesday night training covered ventilation training for structure fires. On top of all this our shifts are also required to conduct shift training. If you’re ready to jump start your career as a firefight we are currently hiring Paid on Call firefights.
