OES WT52 now deployed to the Gann Fire in Calaveras County. Fire is currently 10,372 acres and 19% Contained.

OCFPD Captain Lopez is also deployed on an overhead assignment to Washington, assigned to the Little Giant Fire, currently 74,284 acres and 1% contained.

At home E366 is providing coverage to Cal Fire in Fresno County.

Orange Cove Fire District remains fully staffed and ready to respond to local emergencies.

After a two week deployment to Oregon OES task force 5800 has returned home. OES WT-52 has remained busy since being assigned to OCFPD and is ready for the next assignment.

OES WT-52 is currently assigned to the Akawa Butte Fire in Oregon, as part of OES Task Force 5800

The California Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) coordinates mutual aid resources to support emergency incidents across California and neighboring states when requested.

This water tender is provided by Cal OES with mutual aid provided by Orange Cove Fire Protection District. WT-52 has been deployed multiple times since being assigned to OCFPD this year.

Orange Cove Fire District remains fully staffed and ready to respond to local emergencies.

Do you know about the City of Orange Cove “New Social Host” Municipal Code?

According to New Municipal Code Section 7.27.511, if someone at your residence sets off dangerous and illegal fireworks, the homeowner of the private property will be subject to a misdemeanor and fined $1,000.

As the responsible party, you do not need to be present for an administrative citation to be issued. Citations will be issued via mail to property owners.

DO NOT report illegal fireworks via social media, and remember, 9-1-1 should ONLY be used to report emergencies.

The newest addition to our fleet (OES WT-52) was deployed last night to the Hog Fire in the Pine Flat area.

The OES (Office of Emergency Services) water tender is part of a powerful statewide system managed by Cal OES to provide support during major emergencies.

Orange Cove Fire Protection District is proud to be part of this mutual aid network, ready to respond to both local and state-wide calls for help. This partnership means greater resources for our community and beyond, ensuring safety when it matters most.

Orange Cove Fire District members greeted firefighters from Jalisco Mexico today. They are coming from Vancouver Washington on the way back to Mexico. We had an opportunity to talk about the fire service and also donate much needed equipment to our fire service partners from Mexico.

Today Orange Cove Fire District assisted Valley ROP with a fun day of training for its students. Orange Cove Fire District is a huge supporter of Valley ROP and frequently hires its students as paid call fire fighters.

Training Week for OCFPD

Driver operator training for our new and current drivers. Tonight crews covered mechanical operations and driving courses.

Tuesday night training covered ventilation training for structure fires. On top of all this our shifts are also required to conduct shift training. If you’re ready to jump start your career as a firefight we are currently hiring Paid on Call firefights.
