Our club is gearing up for the Vibrant Club Seminar at Thrasher-Horne on Aug 22! Six members are already registered, and we’re aiming for ten. Sessions cover membership, youth programs, DACdb, public image, foundation, plus roundtables, lunch, and a keynote. If your calendar’s clear, sign up, registration is reimbursed.

This week we welcome Karrie Massee of The Club Continental for a special look at the history of the beautiful venue we call our Friday morning home. From the Palmolive family to the Winterbourne and Mira Rio estates, Club Continental’s story is pure Old Florida. Join us Friday at 7:15 a.m.

The club is off and running on one of our Rotary Club Goals by setting a club record for the number of club members who attend District Sponsored Events: RLI, Vibrant Club, District Conference. Our first opportunity was indeed a HUGE success as the club had three members travel all the way to Gainesville to attend RLI: Club President Bryan Campbell, Membership Lead Alexandra Reinhardt and Your Services Chair Paul Goodier all completed the training. We even had a former club member, Sarah Campbell, attend, but we are not sure if we can take credit.

The next RLI is in January and is in Orange Park. A date is coming soon.
