Up next at Art After 5! 🖼️
Celebrate America 250 with a special lecture by Curator Sarah Boehme, PhD. This program is offered in conjunction with special focus exhibition "America 250: Three Presidents—Lincoln, Grant, and Garfield." 🇺🇸
Taos artist Oscar E. Berninghaus created scenes from the early lives of Abraham Lincoln, Ulysses S. Grant and James Garfield. Discover why Berninghaus chose these presidents, what inspired him to paint their stories and the history and events that shaped these leaders as they served their country.
🖼️ America 250: Lecture Log Cabin to White House will be held during Art After 5 on June 25 at the Stark Museum of Art.
