Students practiced a "Stranger in the Building" drill today at preschool. We periodically practice drills for fire, inclement weather and other lock down drills. Please talk to your student about the procedures they have learned. This is a great time to discuss emergency plans for your own home.

Community Christian School and Preschool will be closed Mon., Aug. 28, due to effects from Harvey. We will be on standby for opening on Tuesday. We will keep you posted.

All students preschool through 11 th grade should begin the re-enrollment process this week. Call our registrar, Liz Morris, at 883-4531, ext 121 if you need help! Fill out the enrollment form or the survey this week to give your child's homeroom a chance to win a Mazzio's buffet lunch off campus!

"CCS Preschool has gotten off to a great start this school year! Our new morning teachers are: Melissa Amodeo & Kellie Freeman, K2; Desha Ackerman & Cicilye Williams, K3; Lisa Hogan & Debbie Snyder, K4, who also serves as Daycare Assistant Director. And of course, we are very blessed to welcome Lindsay O'Harra, K1, & Dreama Sullivan, K4, back to our staff. Kayla Jacobs is serving as Preschool Assistant and Patrice Bates, Preschool & Daycare Director. Afternoon caregivers include Cameron Childers, Tramena Horn & Gabriela Llanas.
