June is Reunification Month 🏠

This month, we celebrate the strength, resilience, and love that families reunite. When safe and appropriate, reunification provides children with the opportunity to return home and rebuild connections with those who matter most.

CASA Volunteers play an important role in this journey by advocating for children's best interests and supporting positive outcomes for families.

💙 A Day in the Life of a CASA Volunteer 🦋

Being a CASA Volunteer means showing up for a child in foster care with consistency, compassion, and purpose - month after month.

A CASA advocate may spend their day:
✔ Visiting with children to build trust, connection, and a sense of stability.
✔ Attending court hearing to help amplify a child's voice in decisions that shape their future.
✔ Checking in with teachers about school progress, challenges, and support needs.
✔ Advocating for services like counseling, medical care, educational support, and safe, stable placements.

Sometimes the most powerful message a child receives is:
You matter! I'm here! I'm not giving up on you!

CASA volunteers become a steady, caring presence during one of the hardest seasons of a child's life.

💙🦋 If you already care about kids, CASA gives you a meaningful way to stand with them.

Become a CASA Volunteer and make a difference in a child's life. Walking with them every step of the walk does matter. Our next New Advocate Orientation Class is June 25th. Become a CASA TODAY!

It’s summertime….Head on over to the Jasper County Historical Museum💙💙

Today, the Museum was filled with the best kind of history — the kind that walks through the door with curious eyes, little hands, and a family ready to explore together. 🌿

This sweet family stopped in for a guided tour, and for a little while, the past came alive around the table, the exhibits, and the stories tucked into every corner of the Museum.

Before they left, they made a donation and chose a Weaving Loom Kit to take home — carrying a small piece of history with them, ready to become a hands-on family project.

Moments like these remind us why the Museum matters. It is not only a place where history is preserved. It is a place where families gather, children wonder, stories are shared, and memories are made.

Thank you for visiting the Jasper County Historical Museum. We loved having you here. 🤍

This National Children's Day, let's recognize the importance of giving all children the chance to just be kids!

For children in foster care, normalcy means having the chance to experience everyday things — like sleepovers, sports, birthday parties and so much more. These experiences help them grow, connect and feel a sense of belonging.
