Success at Epic starts with a consistent routine!

While every Epic student's learning journey may look different, a few simple habits can help families stay on track with attendance and academic progress.

Make it a goal to engage in learning every school day, complete assignments on time, attend scheduled meetings and assessments, and stay connected with your teacher.

And remember: if something isn't working, don't wait until you're behind to ask for help! Your Epic team is here to support you.

Did you know? At Epic, attendance is tied to daily learning—not just the total amount of work completed during the week.

Here's what families should know:
• Completing extra assignments in advance doesn't replace daily participation.
• Weekend or holiday work can help students catch up academically, but it doesn't make up attendance for a missed school day.
• Attendance is based on documented participation and completed work, not just being online.

A little progress every school day adds up to a successful year! If you have any questions or concerns, please partner with your Supervising Teacher.

At Epic California Academy, showing up for school looks a little different!

Unlike traditional schools, attendance isn't determined by sitting in a classroom or simply logging into a computer.

Instead, attendance is based on students' daily engagement in assigned learning activities and documentation of completed work.

That means every school day is an opportunity to learn, make progress, and stay on track.
