Radar Speed Signs Update ๐Ÿšฆ

You may notice some of our radar speed signs temporarily disappearing throughout Orange Village.

These signs were provided to the Village at no cost to our residents through the competitive 2025 Cuyahoga County Community Development Supplemental Grant. A few of the signs are currently being sent out for warranty repairs and will be back in service soon.

Our radar speed signs use radar technology to detect an approaching vehicleโ€™s speed and display it to the driver. They are intended to remind motorists to be conscious of their speed and encourage everyone to slow down and follow the posted speed limit.

We just wanted to keep residents informed if you notice some of the signs are temporarily missing. We appreciate your patience as we get them repaired and back up throughout the Village!

Orange Schools are back in session this Thursday, August 20! ๐ŸšŒ

Please be prepared for school buses making frequent stops throughout our community. Allow a few extra minutes for your commute, slow down, and stay alert for students.

Letโ€™s help keep our kids safe and start the school year off right! ๐ŸŠ๐Ÿ“š

โœ… UPDATE (3:50 PM)

The water main break has been repaired, and water service should be restored to area residents. If you are still experiencing an interruption in service, please contact Cleveland Water directly.

Miles Road has also been reopened to westbound traffic only, which is the normal traffic pattern for the ongoing construction project.

Thank you for your patience and understanding as crews worked to address this unexpected issue.

๐Ÿšจ ROAD CLOSURE โ€“ MILES ROAD ๐Ÿšจ

Miles Road is currently closed from Brainard Road to Naiman Parkway due to a water main break.

The break occurred while Cleveland Water was pressure testing fire hydrants in the area. We want to make residents aware that this incident is separate from the ongoing Miles Road construction project and was not caused by the construction.

We understand this closure is an additional inconvenience for residents and motorists. Crews are working to address the water main break and reopen the roadway as soon as possible.

Please avoid the area and use an alternate route until further notice. We will provide updates as additional information becomes available.

๐Ÿš”๐Ÿš’๐Ÿšœ A fun day in Orange Village!

We recently welcomed a local daycare for a field trip around the Village. Officer Dotson gave the kids a tour of the Police Department, and our Fire Department and Service Department joined in on the fun by showing them around their facilities, too!

It was a great opportunity for the kids to meet some of the people who help keep our community safe and running every day. Thanks for stopping by! ๐Ÿ‘ฎ๐Ÿฝโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Important Parking Reminder ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ›‘

Please be aware that Ordinance No. 2026-10 is in effect. Under Section 351.17 of the Codified Ordinances, parking is strictly prohibited on either side of cul-de-sac turnarounds within residential districts.

If you have contractors, lawn care teams, service personnel, or guests visiting your property, please ensure they park on standard street stretches or in driveways rather than in cul-de-sacs.

This rule is enforced to guarantee that emergency vehicles, school buses, delivery trucks, and service vehicles can safely turn around and navigate our neighborhoods without obstruction.

Thank you for your cooperation in keeping our streets safe and accessible!
