🌈 Rainbow Bridge Remembrance Day
Adoption is what we work toward every day — watching an animal walk out our doors and into a home where they'll hopefully spend a lifetime knowing love, family and all the good stuff that comes with belonging.
But leaving the shelter doesn't mean we forget them.
We remember the goofy ones, the difficult ones, the quiet ones, the ones who stayed a week and the ones who stayed much longer. We love seeing them years later in adoption updates, older and grayer and still completely spoiled.
And when we hear that one of them is gone, we remember them then, too.
This year, the loss of Poseidon hit especially hard. So today, we'll remember him — and every animal we've had the privilege of knowing along the way.
