Our MATConnect team works tirelessly to ensure our communities have access to vital information, resources, and recovery support services.

On June 23, in collaboration with the Wound Walk OC Community Medicine Team, we provided essential supplies and support to individuals receiving wound care services.

Today, June 25, our team is in South Orange County, San Juan Capistrano at the OC Same Day Solutions Fair, connecting community members with information, Naloxne, and recovery support resources.

We are incredibly proud of the MATConnect team and their unwavering dedication to serving our community. Their compassion, commitment, and outreach efforts continue to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those they serve every day.

A hazardous materials incident in Garden Grove has resulted in mandatory evacuation orders due to the potential release release of Methyl Methacrylate (MMA) —a highly flammable and potentially toxic chemical commonly used in plastics, coating and manufacturing.

Our MATConnect team was out at the OC Same Day Solution Fair at The Hub OC connecting with the community, sharing resources, and supporting harm reduction efforts.

We distributed over 100 doses of Narcan/Naloxone, connected individuals with local clinics and care resources, and had meaningful conversations about access, support, and recovery. Plus — we gave out plenty of merch along the way.

Events like these remind us how important community partnerships and accessible care are in meeting people where they are.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared their stories, and helped make the day a success. Together, we’re building healthier, more connected communities.
