It was a fun day discovering the stories and value behind all kinds of treasures! 🖼️💍🏺

Guests brought a little bit of everything to the Heritage House Museum for the Southeast Texas Arts Council’s recent “What’s It Worth?” appraisal event, from paintings, sculptures, and jewelry to trading cards, vinyl records, and family heirlooms.

Several guests and appraisers toured the Museum throughout the day, and the appraisers even examined a few pieces from the Heritage House collection, including an old painting depicting another historic home in downtown Orange. 🍊

Thank you to everyone who joined us and brought their treasures to share, and to the appraisers for their time and expertise. We enjoyed hosting this community event and look forward to seeing what turns up next year!

Last weekend, our annual Cemetery Walk brought members of our community together for a day filled with conversation, remembrance, and connection.

It was a beautiful spring afternoon as guests from Orange and neighboring communities joined us to explore local history, share personal stories, and reflect on the lives and legacies that have shaped our community.

Thank you to everyone who attended, and to our Board Members for sharing their time and stories with our guests.

We look forward to continuing this annual tradition and welcoming you to our next Cemetery Walk.
