Come say hi and pick up some safety tips! (and a CERT flashlight keychain, while you’re at it)

It’s National Preparedness Month! With the nor’easter expected to bring heavy winds this weekend, there’s no better time to make sure you’re ready to keep yourself and loved ones safe and secure.

Many of us in CERT keep emergency supplies ready to go, it’s easy to do if you take a second to plan in advance. 🔗 in comments.

We welcomed 23 new members to the Orange and Milford CERT teams earlier this month at our class of 2026 graduation ceremony. 🎓

Thanks to the Town of Orange Fire Marshal's Office, Orange Volunteer Fire Department, and Town of Orange, Connecticut, Police Department for helping us train and learn - we are grateful to Chief Dumas, Chief Gagne, and Assistant Chief Martins for helping us celebrate the occasion.

Please join us in giving a big CERT welcome to our newest members 👏 🎉. We look forward to serving our communities during the busy summer months! 🎡🎆🚜

Congratulations to the CERT class of 2026!

This one was special as we were able to team up with Milford CERT on our first joint training class, neighbors helping neighbors is what it’s all about 🤝.
