Mrs. June D. Robinson was born in Washington, D.C., on July 11, 1937. She departed this life, transitioning in her home with her family by her bedside on March 26, 2021.

She was married to James Robinson for over 60 years and they had five children. She has joined James and two of her children along with many family members in Glory.

June worked many years as an EMT and Chaplin for the Orange County, Va. Rescue Squad. She was also an active member of the NAACP. She will be missed by her family and a community that loved her as she did many.

"She fought a good fight, she finished the race, she kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7

Sad to post BUT today, June 30, 2020, is the official date that OCRS has officially closed for good. All funds have now been sent to the Charlottesville Area Community Fund to set up the OCRS Scholarship fund through the Orange County Education Fund.

This scholarship will be given on an annual basis to a person that is pursuing a medical career.

The organization may be no more but our name and legacy will continue on.

To all that ever served, I thank you for your service to the community.
