Save the date! LCE will host Grandparent's Day Lunch on Monday, September 14th, and we can't wait to welcome our students' grandparents to campus! Students may invite one or two grandparents to join them for lunch that day.

Pre-registration is required and will be sent out via Parent Square on Monday, August 31st. Registration must be completed by Friday, September 4th.

Please note: grandparents must be listed as an emergency contact in Skyward, and their ID will need to be scanned by September 4th so we can print their visitor badge. Visitors will be allowed back to the cafeteria five minutes before each lunch time begins. Grandparents can bring their student a lunch, the student can bring a lunch kit from home, or the student may get a tray from the cafeteria.

Lunch Schedule:

Pre-K & Life Skills: 11:45–12:20
Kindergarten: 10:15–10:55
First Grade: 11:00–11:40
Second Grade: 12:20–1:00

We're looking forward to celebrating our grandparents and all the love they bring!

*Due to the number of anticipated visitors, students can only have lunch with their grandparents during their grade level's designated time. Grandparents may attend more than one lunch period if they have multiple grandchildren on campus.

Mrs. Gordon’s 2nd grade class learned about a few science tools and put them to use! 🧪

They built their own temperature tester. They talked about constants and variables, made predictions, and observed the changes. The students made sure they followed the safety rules that were agreed upon earlier in the week. 🌡️
