We are thrilled to share the success of our recent Job Fair hosted by Orangeburg-Calhoun Adult Education at Orangeburg-Calhoun Technical College!

In partnership with the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce (SCDEW), we connected students and community members with real opportunities and the energy was incredible!

The Orangeburg-Calhoun Adult Education graduating class of Spring 2025 was celebrated on May 15, 2025, with 11 students meeting the graduation criteria.

Among the graduates, four earned a Silver Career Readiness Certificate, and two achieved a Bronze Career Readiness Certificate. Additionally, four graduates were recognized as Digital Literacy Completers, demonstrating proficiency in Basic Computer Skills, Using Email, Internet Basics, Information Literacy, and Digital Footprints.

A notable achievement was Don Jones, who successfully completed post-secondary CDL training through Corporate Training and Development.

Overall, the program has a strong success rate, with 82% of the students either placed or in the referral process for post-secondary training or employment.
