July at our Food Bank brought summer warmth, community spirit, and lots of hands making a difference. ☀️🧡

Last month we served 1,460 families, representing 3,798 people. Of those, 119 families were new to us — and a reminder of how many neighbors are reaching out for help. Our team of 153 volunteers generously served 1,380 hours to help keep the doors open, the pantries stocked, and the smiles going. 😊

From Farm Camp visitors brightening our pantry bags to volunteers keeping things moving, we had a month full of small moments that add up to big support for our neighbors. We hosted our third Bingo night of the year, and our annual Lawyers vs. Hunger matching donation campaign kicked off and runs now through October 9. 🎉

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to the donors, volunteers, groups, and neighbors who make this work possible. 🌟

We had a blast welcoming the summer Farm Camp kids from the Food Bank Farm of Orangevale & Fair Oaks for special behind-the-scenes tours of our Food Bank! 🌱☀️

During their visits, the kids learned how our Food Bank helps neighbors and supports our community. They even decorated some pantry bags for our clients, adding colorful and thoughtful touches that brought smiles to those who received them! 😊

We loved sharing a glimpse of our work with these young visitors and can’t wait to do it again next summer! ✨💛
