September 26 from 9:00 am - 11:00 am at the Windom Fire Station at 3736 Abbott Road in Orchard Park. Members of the Police Department will be on hand to check car seats and assist with proper installation.
All safety precautions will be taken.
No appointment necessary and there is no cost.

The Lucky Duck Scavenger Hunt will be extended until Monday! Head out to Green Lake/Yates Park and see how many ducks you can find!! If you find the Lucky Duck with the Orchard Park Police Badge and the Lucky Duck symbol take a picture and submit it to the Lucky Duck Scavenger Hunt page via Messanger for a chance to win a prize! Winners will be randomly selected in a drawing at the end of August!!!

Hint.... Ducks are in the area of the playground/splash pad and pavilions..... look up!!

Due to the Lucky Duck Scavenger Hunt going so well ALL the agencies are going to extend their events through this weekend!!! This will be the last weekend for duck hunting! The ducks are hiding at Green Lake/Yates Park! Join the Orchard Park Police Department and 9 other local police agencies that are participating in the Lucky Duck Scavenger Hunt 2020 . Like and Follow the Lucky Duck Scavenger Hunt 2020 page for all of the details!!!
Find all 15 ducks...some of them will be wearing patches of the other local police departments that are participating!
BUT if you find the Orchard Park Police Lucky Duck take a picture of it and send it via Facebook Messenger to the Lucky Duck Scavenger Hunt 2020 and you will be entered into a drawing for a prize at the end of August!
This event runs from August 1 - 14.

Just a reminder that there is a curfew in the Town and Village of Orchard Park starting tonight through Monday June 8th. The curfew begins at 8:00pm each night and ends the following morning at 5:00am.

This curfew does not apply to essential workers.

The Orchard Park Police Department would like to congratulate Lt. Joe Ray and Officer Lenny Govenettio on their recent retirements.
Officer Govenettio joined the police department in August 1988. He served on the ERT team, was a part time SRO and spent many years as a D.A.R.E. Officer.
Lt. Ray joined the department in July 1993. He was the Assistant Commander of the ERT team, a firearms instructor and is credited with the creation of our Crisis Intervention Team. Lt. Ray is also retired from the US Army.
We would like to thank Lt. Ray and Officer Govenettio for their many years of service to our community. Your experience, knowledge and dedication will be missed. Wishing you the best on your retirement. Thank you both for your service.
