Can you believe June is already here? Summer is officially right around the corner, and the energy around the building is absolutely wonderful. It is so great to see our outdoor spaces being put to good use and so many familiar faces filling our rooms every day.

As the weather heats up, a quick reminder to stay hydrated, look out for one another on the hotter days, and check our page or the main lobby board for any updates on our outdoor
activities. Whether you are here for a card game, a fitness class, or just a cup of coffee and a chat, thank you for making our center such a warm, welcoming place.

Our next walking challenge begins May 31!

Last year, we conquered the Mother Road and trekked across Route 66. This year, we’re dreaming even bigger and heading Down Under! We are officially launching our Great Australian Circuit. Starting in Perth, we’ll be virtually hugging the coastline, keeping the ocean to our side as we attempt to walk the entire circumference of the continent.

It’s a massive undertaking, and we can’t do it without your help. Every step you take brings our group closer to circling the Outback! Each week, we’ll set a collective distance goal to reach the next coastal landmark. We need your daily participation and step counts to keep our momentum moving.

If you participate and log your steps weekly, you’ll be entered into a prize drawing at the end of each weeks challenge.

Register and pick up your step count log at the front desk.
