Erie County Law Enforcement Foundation, Inc. The Erie County Law Enforcement Foundation, Inc. is a 501(c)-3 not-for-profit corporation, dedicated to supporting the law enforcement community by providing funding for education, training, specialized equipment and supplies.

You can make a donation. Founded in 1987 and comprised of an all volunteer board of director and officers. The Foundation spends no money on itself. All matters before the Foundation are handled on a voluntary basis. All proceeds the Foundation has go towards supporting law enforcement.

With heavy hearts, we are sad to announce the passing Sheriff Tom Higgins. Sheriff Higgins was one of the founders of our foundation, and remained an active member until just a few weeks ago. He will be greatly missed. Please keep the Sheriff and his family in your prayers.

Chairman of the Board of Directors : Samuel Palmiere, former Chief of Police of the Town of Tonawanda Police Department. Presently is the law enforcement coordinator for the U.S. Attorney's Office, Western District, located in Buffalo, New York.
