Village First Village First promotes village residents' desire to put the Village of Orchard Park first over politics and state government agendas

Village First debuted in the 2013 Village of Orchard Park Election after a group of concerned village residents and businesses came together to support their village in light of the New York State Government Reorganization and Citizen's Empowerment Act. This was Albany's attempt to make it easier to dissolve villages. The name Village First was created to promote citizens' desire to put their vill

age first ahead of politics and state government agendas. Ongoing revitalization of the village business district and its beautification program as well as the special events and services that enrich the quality of life remain key priorities irrespective of party affiliation and should be prioritized above political partisanship.
