The journey begins.

At our June 4 Information Meeting, the Orchard Park High School Quaker Marching Band officially unveiled its 2026 NYS Field Band Conference production: π•π¨π²πšπ πžπ«.

Future members and families got their first look at the upcoming season, met the newly announced Drum Major and Section Leaders, and learned what it takes to bring a championship-caliber production to life.

While students met with their sections and leadership teams, parents learned about the QMB Boosters - the dedicated volunteers who help make every performance, competition, trip, and unforgettable experience possible through fundraising and support.

A successful marching band season takes an entire team, and we are excited to welcome both new and returning families as we begin this incredible journey together.

Tonight is the night! Interested in learning more about the Quaker Marching Band and how you or your children can get involved for the 2026/2027 school year?

Join us tonight at 7 p.m. in the Orchard Park High School Auditorium for band/color guard members & parent meeting.

QMB is much more than a typical marching band. They not only march in local parades but also act as the pep band during football games, compete in NYS Field Band Conference shows and the state championships at the JMA Wireless Dome at Syracuse University, and participate in special events all year round!

No music or dance experience is necessary! There is a place for EVERYONE in QMB!!!

EARTHQUAKE vs. STREET BEAT!

Recently, the Orchard Park High School Quaker Marching Band visited Orchard Park Middle School to share what QMB is all about with band, orchestra, and chorus students interested in joining us for the 2026-2027 season.

Students got to hear some of our favorite pep tunes and parade songs, but two sections really brought the energy:

🎺 The Low Brass section performed their legendary football game anthem, Earthquake.

πŸ₯ Drumline brought the house down with the Street Beat cadence that powers us through parades all season long.

If you've ever wondered what it's like to be part of the excitement, the friendships, and the traditions of QMB, this is just a small taste of what awaits!

Join us for our QMB Information Meeting on Thursday, June 4th at 7 pm at the OPHS Auditorium. This meeting is for anyone inteersted in learning more about QMB - current and future band members and parents are encouraged to attend. Please use the Baker Road entrance.

It's time for the Quaker Marching Band's Bottle & Can Drive! 🎢

The Orchard Park High School Quaker Marching Band is collecting clean, returnable bottles and cans to support their upcoming season. Your contributions help fund performances, travel, and equipment for these talented students.

How to Contribute:

🏠 Curbside Pickup:
Place your clean bottles and cans at the end of your driveway by 9:00 AM on Saturday, June 6th.
Please separate glass from plastic and aluminum.
Pickup is available within the Orchard Park School District only.

πŸš— Drop-Off Location:
Bring your donations to the OPHS Baker Parking Lot between 9:00 AM and 12:00 PM.

The Orchard Park High School Quaker Marching Band is more than just a band, it’s a family 🎢

If you’re currently in 8th–12th grade, attend OPMS or OPHS, and will be participating in a performing music group during the 2026–2027 school year, we invite you to learn more about becoming part of the QMB!

Join us for the Parent & Student Information Meeting:

πŸ“… Thursday, June 4 @ 7 pm
πŸ“ Orchard Park High School Auditorium

This meeting is open to anyone interested in joining. You can ask questions, meet current members and families, and sign up that evening if you decide QMB is right for you!

The QMB experience includes:

✨ Performing at OPHS home football games
✨ Marching in the Memorial Day, Homecoming & 4th of July parades
✨ Competing at the NYS Field Band Conference Championships at the JMA Wireless Dome in Syracuse
✨ Disney trip planned for 2028
✨ Making memories that last a lifetime

Marching band helps students build confidence, leadership skills, discipline, and friendships that often last long after graduation. It also helps students become more well-rounded and engaged in school and their community.

Band fees for QMB for the 26-27 school year are $300 for the first student and $275 for each additional sibling.

Please note: Students participating in a fall sport cannot participate in marching band due to scheduling conflicts.
