Fort Hartsuff Rendezvous: Fur Trade Era Living History
June 19-21 (Friday-Sunday) 10am-4:30pm

Fort Hartsuff was built as the fur trade era was coming to an end. But the US Army relied on hunters and guides like “Happy Jack” Swearengen and Conrad “Little Buckshot” Wentworth as government scouts. Fur traders and trappers had spent years learning about the territory and the native people. Explore fur trade era living history with volunteers who embody the mountain men, explorers, and early entrepreneurs of the American West.

Make your way to the park to relive the fur trading era at Ft. Hartsuff!

As we celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Rod Run in Ord, we invite you to make a weekend of it by supporting the local businesses that help make our community special.

Congratulations, River Bros Kayaking on your 1 year anniversary from the Ord Area Chamber of Commerce!

What started as an idea between brothers has grown into a fun local business helping residents and visitors experience the beauty of the Ord area from the water.
