Spent the day traveling across every county in District 41. Enjoyed catching up with friends, talking about the campaign, and putting up signs.

Had a great day in Grand Island for Opening Day of the Nebraska State Fair.

Attended the opening ceremonies with Governor Jim Pillen and many Nebraskans at Earl May Fair Square.

Also sat down with Grand Island leadership for a roundtable on key legislative initiatives and projects that matter to our communities. Listening locally is how you actually get things done.

This fair is a gem. Get to Grand Island before Labor Day. Bring the family. Eat something you can’t pronounce. Cheer on a 4-H kid.

This is Nebraska at its best.

Grateful for the chance to visit the University of Nebraska Medical Center - UNMC and Nebraska Medicine.

I toured the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center and met with Chancellor Davies about the work UNMC is doing to strengthen care, education, and innovation across our state. Healthcare in Greater Nebraska is critically important, and UNMC is a key driver of growth for Nebraska.

I believe Nebraska can lead the nation in medical education, care, and innovation and UNMC is already showing the way.

Johnson is a candidate for Nebraska Legislative District 41.

Proud dad moment!

Last week I had the chance to tour an underground utility construction site with NUCA of Nebraska (National Utility Contractors Association) .

NUCA has been a real driver in creating and supporting Central Community College: Heavy Equipment Operator Technician program, the kind of hands-on training that helps keep Nebraska working.

Also last week, my son started class at Central Community College to become a heavy equipment operator. Personal, professional, and legislative worlds colliding in the best way!

It’s exciting to see the connection between industry, education, and the next generation of skilled workers right here in Nebraska.

Great week and half of meetings and conversations across Nebraska.

Attended the Federal Legislative Summit at the Strategic Air Command & Aerospace Museum, where we heard directly from our Nebraska congressional delegation.

Joined the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce & Industry community conversation.

Great discussion with Rep. Adrian Smith on a range of issues important to our state.

Outstanding time yesterday at the Elm Creek Buffalo Stampede parade!

I'm honored to share that the Nebraska Fraternal Order of Police State Lodge has endorsed by campaign for the Nebraska Legislature in District 41!

Our shared commitment to public safety, combined with my experience and determination to effectively advocate for the men and women who serve in law enforcement and corrections across our state, makes this endorsement especially meaningful.

Our officers, deputies, troopers, and corrections professionals put themselves on the line every day. They deserve strong, consistent voices in the Legislature who will fight for the resources, respect, and support they need to keep our communities safe.

I’m grateful for this endorsement and for the trust of Nebraska’s law enforcement community.

Had a great time last night at the Buffalo Hall Corn Growers Association plot night.

Agriculture is Nebraska’s #1 industry, and I’m always grateful for the hard work of our farm and ranch families.

It’s extremely exciting to see the Buffalo and Hall Corn Growers Association donation to the food banks in Buffalo and Hall counties and their scholarships to help our future farmers and ranchers pursue higher education.

A big thank you to all the producers who make this possible and a special shoutout to Babels Barn for the outstanding meal. It’s truly a hidden treasure in the heart of Nebraska.

Last night’s severe storms impacted parts of Valley, Greeley, and Wheeler counties. My thoughts and prayers are with the families and communities dealing with the damage.

What a great day at the North Loup Popcorn Days Parade!

This celebration has a remarkable history, the longest-running of its kind, marking 125 years this year. It was fantastic catching up with friends and meeting so many new ones.

Events like this are what make our rural communities strong. Grateful to be part of it.
