Celebrate the 250th on 4rth of July by visiting the Pioneer Church at the Baker Cabin Historic Site in Carver, OR.
Noon to 2pm we will two, yes two, Photo Opportunities for patriots of all sizes, families, friends, friends you haen't met yet too! Our Vintage wagon will be ready for you group photo, and this year a rare and vintage 47-Star Stars-and-Stripes flag is hung ready for your salute and honor photo. Rare? you say? 47 stars was New Mexico's Statehood, followed 39 days later by Arizona and Alaska. So this flag, flown in 1912, was the official US Flag for a very short time being replace by the 48 and 49 star versions. Hawaii is of course our 50th.
This is a big piece of unique history we bring to for this our 250th Celebration.
Of course the 1856 Log Cabin Museum will also be open for perusal, education, and showing the kids how it "used to be".
Along with all this, at 2pm is our Big Brass Concert inside the Pioneer Church.
