We’re building a roadmap for a more connected community through a Trail Network Plan. This plan will be a guide for creating safe and accessible pathways that connect neighborhoods, parks, schools, natural areas, and local destinations throughout the district.

Get involved! This summer we’re collecting input on the project goals, types of trails you’d like to see in the community, where you’d most like to see those trails, and any challenges that you have on current trails.

Due to excessive heat and smoke warnings, Track & Field Camp (9:00 a.m. – noon) held at Alder Creek Middle School field has been cancelled for Tuesday, August 4. With an Excessive Heat Advisory continuing throughout our region, NCPRD is taking precautions to protect the health and safety of our participants and staff. After monitoring the forecast and expected conditions, we have made the decision to cancel camp for tomorrow.

Outdoor Extravaganza Camp held at Mt. Scott Elementary (9 a.m. – noon) will transition indoors for duration of the day tomorrow.

Each year, North Clackamas Aquatic Park receives well-deserved care and attention through regular maintenance and thoughtful improvements. One of the major projects recently completed was a new roof—an investment that helps protect this beloved community gem and keep it serving swimmers and families for years to come.

Yesterday, we were honored to host the Metro Council at Concord Community Center for the announcement and celebration of this year's Metro Nature in Neighborhoods Grant awards! It was inspiring to celebrate the projects that will bring more parks, trails, and natural spaces to communities in Clackamas County.

We're excited to share that NCPRD was awarded $540,200 to support four park projects across the district. Aligning with NCPRD's System Plan short-term priorities, these grants will help fund:

🌳Skate improvements at the future community park at 70th Avenue & Monroe Street Property
🌳A refresh of Risley Park
🌳Development of a new neighborhood park at the Justice Property
🌳Trail and habitat improvements at Rivervilla Park
