They’re now back at OCPD completing post-academy training before starting FTEP (Field Training Evaluation Program) and applying their academy training to real-life police work. Today we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice while serving our country and remember the freedoms their courage and sacrifice has preserved for all of us.

The OCPD Honor Guard will be a part of the Mt. View Cemetery Memorial Day Commemorative Service, located at 500 Hilda St. The ceremony will start at 10 a.m. and is open to the public.

Can You ID Me?

This unidentified male suspect stole some items from the Chevron gas station on McLoughlin Blvd at 10th Street last night. He used a wrench as a weapon to assist in his theft and is currently the suspect in OCPD's robbery investigation under case #26-009389. In 1962, President John F. Kennedy proclaimed May 15th as National Peace Officer’s Memorial Day. As we reflect on this day, we honor the brave law enforcement officers across the nation and here in Clackamas County, who have made the ultimate sacrifice in service to their communities. Their courage, commitment, and selflessness will never be forgotten.

We vow to never forget their sacrifice:
