We want to hear your breastfeeding story!

August is Breastfeeding Awareness Month! For the month of August, Ogle County Health Department would like to display and share breastfeeding stories throughout our office from a variety of staff, patients, and community members. We hope that this will encourage, unite, and celebrate all breastfeeding families.

Not only is breastfeeding beyond 1 year NORMAL, but it's also beneficial for both mothers and children!
Breast milk continues to provide a substantial amount of daily nutrition, immunity support, and chronic disease prevention.
Share this with friends and family to both support & normalize continuing to breastfeed beyond infancy. 💪🩷
