Fixing Problems Before They Occur: Routine Pole Maintenance,
Identifying Risks!

AT&T is performing routine pole inspections throughout The City of Oregon. You may see crews from Davey Resource Group working on behalf of AT&T in your neighborhood.

These contractors visually inspect utility poles for damage and may use methods such as probing or drilling to check the interior of poles for decay or insect infestation.

The purpose of these inspections is to maintain the structural integrity of the poles, help prevent service outages, and ensure the continued safety and reliability of the utility system.

30th Annual Clean Your Streams Partners for Clean Streams
September 26, 2026 | 8:30am - Noon

✅Yes, we're still doing this.
✅Yes, people are still littering.
✅No, we haven't given up hope.

Northwest Ohio's largest watershed clean-up needs YOU (And your questionable fashion choices in waders)

Stick around for our Volunteer Appreciation Picnic at the Lucas County Fairgrounds. Translation: We bribe you with food. It works.
See you there, stream team!

💦This year, we’re celebrating 30 Years of Clean Your Streams Day! We’re pulling out all the stops (and all of the litter) with a goal of having 1,000+ volunteers participate.

🗓️ Upcoming Local Bike Month Events

🚲May is Bike Month!!! This Saturday Glass City Metropark
is having a fun, family-friendly celebration of Bike Month across Northwest Ohio this Saturday, May 2 at Glass City Metropark.

Enjoy a short group ride (helmet required), community activities, and grab this year's Bike Month shirt (while supplies last). Official kick-off festivities start at 10 a.m. on the river’s west side at the new Glass City Riverwalk behind the Fifth Third Bank building. Opening ceremonies and other events planned on site from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The event will feature a special preview ride along the nearly completed Glass City Riverwalk on both sides of the Maumee River, including a first look at The Bend — an S-shaped ramp connecting downtown to the Martin Luther King Bridge bike and pedestrian lane.
Events continue all month with rides, events, and activities across the region. Bring your bike, bring a friend, and be part of Bike Month!
