Oregon Park District Creating fun for a lifetime! The Oregon Park District currently manages over 140 acres of park land at ten different park locations in the Oregon area.

The Oregon Park District was established in 1967 “to efficiently, effectively and equitably provide the highest quality recreation programs, facilities and park resources in cooperation with all community resources to enhance the quality of life for the District residents and visitors”. Outdoor facilities include several baseball/softball diamonds, playgrounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, wa

This season brings 148 athletes rostered with Oregon Park District program — that’s 148 young athletes learning, competing, growing, and making memories on the field. Shoutout to the players, dedicated coaches, fans and families showing up to cheer each week, and of course our hardworking parks crew for keeping the fields in tip-top shape!

🏊‍♀️ Aquatics Facility Update! 🔨

If you haven’t stopped in this week, we want to share the progress already happening behind the scenes during our annual closure.

Crews have been hard at work on the deck resurfacing project and a great deal of progress has already been made! You may or may not have smelled this project before you saw it 😬 but we can confirm it’s back to normal in here today!

Deputy Superintendent of Facilities, Matthew, and Superintendent of Parks and Facilities, Brent, have been putting in the work on renovations in our pool office at the same time. We appreciate their dedication and all the time and effort being poured into this project.

Our priority is always to provide the best and safest experience possible for our guests and staff. We can’t wait to see everything come together and, most importantly, to welcome you back to the pool!

Is your fall ball team in a good groove? ⚾ Want to keep the crew together and take your game to the next level? Now is the time to start thinking about the Oregon Park District Next Level Competitive Baseball League held May - July 2027!

Our Next Level league is designed for teams ready to elevate their game through:

▪️Advanced skill development
▪️Teamwork and player development
▪️Healthy, competitive play
▪️Games against teams from surrounding communities

Coaches: You have the flexibility to build your own competitive roster and select the players who best fit your team's goals. Coaches must email Lesley at [email protected] with team information to reserve a spot. Only 8 teams will be allowed at each level!

Divisions are based on players' birthdays as of May 1, 2027. All games are played at Oregon Park District Fields.

10 regular-season games
2-week tournament
$130 per player if registered by February 1, 2027
$150 per player after February 1
Teams provide their own equipment and uniforms
Players register individually and should enter their team name when prompted during registration

🤝 No team? No problem! Free agents are welcome! We'll do our best to place individual players with a team that needs additional players, when possible.

Our Children’s Center friends officially have their very first week of learning under their belts! 🎉 Whether your little one came running through the door on day one or needed a few extra hugs to take that first big step, we are SO proud of each and every one of them!

This week was filled with new routines, new friendships, lots of play and laughter, and, of course, plenty of perfectly practiced dinosaur stomps! 🦖

Thank you, families, for sharing your little ones with us. We are so lucky to watch them learn, grow, explore, and find their confidence each day.

And a very special thank you to Mrs. Crandall and Ms. Teresa, who welcome our kiddos each morning with so much patience, compassion, and excitement. You make those first days a little easier for everyone!

Here’s to wrapping up WEEK TWO! We can’t wait to see what these kiddos discover next!

Join us to explore the world of bouldering! 🪨 Unlike rock climbing, this activity does not require ropes or harnesses. Rather, climbers navigate hand and footholds close to the ground on a series of “boulders” at an indoor gym.

👉 Participants will enjoy a brief lesson from experienced staff members and will enjoy plenty of time to climb and explore at their own pace.
👉 No prior experience is necessary.
👉After climbing, the group will walk to the UW Student Union nearby for lunch. Please bring $10-15 for lunch.
👉 Participants should wear comfortable athletic clothing and closed-toe shoes and bring a water bottle.
