The Oregon Park District is committed to making recreation opportunities accessible to all families in our community. Through a scholarship fund established by the Park District and Board of Commissioners, financial assistance is available for residents experiencing financial hardship.

✅ Available to Oregon Park District residents or children living within Oregon School District boundaries

✅ Eligible children may receive up to $200 per year in financial assistance

✅ Assistance can cover up to 75% of eligible program fees

📅 Applications must be submitted at least 7 days before the program registration deadline.

If your family could benefit from financial assistance for park district programs, we encourage you to apply. The application process is simple and private.

Big improvements at Park West are complete! 🚧✅

The pit toilet renovation project has been finished, and the new bathrooms are now open for visitors to enjoy. We’re also excited to share that the new bandshell gazebo at Park West has been completed, adding another great feature to the park for community events and gatherings.

A huge shoutout to our Parks Team for their hard work and dedication in making these upgrades happen. Their efforts continue to improve our parks and create better experiences for everyone who visits.

The Oregon Park District is excited to launch a NEW High School Co-Ed Summer Soccer League! Grab your friends, build your team, and get ready for four weeks of competitive summer soccer action.

📅 Wednesdays | July 8 - July 29
⏰ Game times between 5:00 PM - 9:00 PM
📍 Park West Soccer Fields

Weekly officiated games featuring:
• 6v6 small-sided games on grass
• 5v5 mini-pitch games
• End-of-season tournament

• Ages 14-18
• Teams can be boys, girls, or any combination
• Maximum roster size: 10 players

💲 Team Fee: $350

Registration Deadline: June 22

☀️🎶 What a beautiful night to kick off the Oregon Park District's Pack the Park Concert Series! 🎶☀️

A huge thank you to our sponsor, Stillman Bank, for helping us start the summer season with an outstanding performance by Three Good Men. Stillman Bank spoiled concertgoers with snacks, water, koozies, chip clips, beach balls, and a bubble station that kept kids smiling all evening.

With perfect weather, great music, plenty of dancing, and delicious food, no one left hungry or thirsty! We were excited to welcome Priller’s Cakesicles for their concert debut and were happy to have Kona Ice of Sauk Valley - Dixon, Hector's Cocina, and Ralfie's BBQ and Catering back serving the crowd. 🌮🍧🍖

It's raining, it's pouring...but the fun doesn't stop at OPD. 🌧😉 Head on in to Nash and hit the pool during our multi-use time to burn some energy, get a workout in, or simply pretend you aren't in the rainy Midwest for a couple hours.

Wondering what multi-use swim time means? ⬇️ Multi-Use Swim is designed to make the best use of our pool by providing space for everyone to enjoy.

• Three lap lanes are reserved for lap swimming.
• The zip line and part of the deep end are open for recreational play.
• The bay area and shallow end provide plenty of room for families to swim together, children to play, or individuals to enjoy the water at their own pace.
• Water walkers and casual swimmers have open areas to exercise and relax.

Multi-Use Swim is all about sharing the space so everyone can enjoy the pool in the way that works best for them. Whether you're swimming laps, playing with the kids, walking in the water, or just cooling off, there's a place for you at Nash Recreation Center.
