Home fire sprinklers are nearly invisible, need almost no maintenance, and only the one closest to the fire activates. The Hollywood scene where every sprinkler in the building goes off at once isn't real. They sit quiet until the day they save your life.

Smoke alarms warn you. Sprinklers stop the fire. A new home built without sprinklers makes the whole neighborhood less safe, including the crews who respond when something goes wrong. Sprinklers belong in a fire-safe community.

When a home is built without fire sprinklers, the real cost shows up later. Average fire loss in a sprinklered home: around $2,166. Without sprinklers: over $45,000. That's before you count the lives, the displaced families, and the responding firefighters put at risk.

It's been a little over a week since it went into service but we're happy to share that our new ambulance is here! Oregon Medic 68 (ORM68) is a Demer's patient compartment on a 2025 Ford F-550 Chassis. This ambulance is the primary Advanced Life Support (ALS) unit, designed to respond to high acuity incidents.

Bring your unused or expired medications for safe, no-questions-asked disposal. This event is free and open to the public, hosted in partnership with Oregon Area CARES Community Coalition and the Dane County Sheriff's Office.
