Today marks the official kickoff of our hundred years celebration! 🦅

To launch this historic milestone, the entire Clay High School student body stood together to form the number 100, a powerful reminder that while our history was built by generations past, our future belongs to the students of today.

The era behind us proved what it means to be an Eagle. The Century ahead will show just how far we can soar.

Join us as we honor our past and step boldly into the next 100 years of Green and Gold Excellence.🦅

🎆 COMMUNITY NOTICE: FIREWORKS AT FRIDAY NIGHT’S FOOTBALL GAME 🦅🏈

As part of Friday night’s 100-Year Celebration and Hall of Fame Game at Clay Memorial Stadium, fans and nearby community members should be aware that professional fireworks will be used throughout the evening as part of a special game-day experience.

💥 Fireworks are planned for:
• During portions of and at the conclusion of the National Anthem 🇺🇸
• Each time the Eagles score a touchdown and following the extra point
• Following the Clay Marching Band’s halftime performance
• During an approximately 8-minute postgame fireworks show

All required permits for the fireworks display have been pulled and obtained. The display has also been coordinated with the Oregon Police Division (OPD) and Oregon Fire and Rescue to help ensure the event is conducted safely and responsibly.

Because of the noise associated with the fireworks, we want to provide advance notice to our neighbors, families with young children, veterans, individuals who may be sensitive to loud noises, and pet owners so everyone has an opportunity to prepare accordingly.

A huge THANK YOU to our Department of Athletics partners, Danny’s Café and Maumee Bay Turf Center, for making this experience possible!

One of our continued goals within Clay Athletics is to create first-class experiences for our student-athletes, families, fans, and community — experiences that make Friday nights at Clay special and create memories that extend well beyond the final score. We are incredibly fortunate to have community partners who believe in that vision and continue to invest in our students, our programs, and our community.

Friday night will be more than a football game. It will be a celebration of 100 years of Clay High School, our Hall of Fame Class of 2026, and generations of Eagles who have proudly represented our school and community.

We appreciate the support and understanding of our surrounding community and look forward to an unforgettable night at Clay Memorial Stadium!

We’re officially in our second week of school and while there’s been plenty of excitement, new routines and learning happening across our district we want to give A BIG shoutout to our Transportation Department! 🚌⭐️

We want to take a moment to recognize the incredible people who help make each school day possible. Our transportation team goes the extra mile to get our students where they need to be safely, reliably and with care. They play such an important role in our school community and we are so grateful for all that they do!

Dear Oregon City Schools Families,

Keeping our families informed, connected, and engaged is a top priority for us—a commitment that directly aligns with our district goal, Together We Are One.

Oregon City Schools uses BrightArrow as our primary tool for direct district communications, including critical safety announcements, school delays, and weather closures. BrightArrow automatically pulls contact details from PowerSchool for custodial parents of currently enrolled students.

District-Wide Test Notification

When: Sunday, September 6th at 12:00 PM (noon)
How: Phone call, text message, and email

Action Required Before September 6th To ensure you receive text alerts, you must complete the one-time opt-in process:

Opt-In to Texting: Text YES to 79041 from your mobile device.

Note: Automated phone calls will only be sent to families who have selected voice calls in their preferences.

Didn't Receive the Test Notification?

If you do not receive the test notification on September 6th, your contact information in PowerSchool may need to be updated.
Contact any building office where you have an enrolled student and provide your updated phone number or email address. You do not need to contact multiple buildings—updating your record at one school updates it district-wide.

Thank you for partnering with us to ensure seamless, reliable communication for the upcoming school year.

Sincerely,

Oregon City Schools Administration

🏈 Friday Night Lights are even more special when our youngest EAGLES get to be part of the action! 💚💛

The Oregon Youth Cheer📣and Football 🏈programs brought plenty of energy, excitement and school spirit to the field as our future Eagles joined the high school football team for opening night at Clay Memorial Stadium. From taking the field to cheering on the team, these young athletes got a special taste of what it means to be part of the Eagle family.

What a great way to celebrate the next generation of Eagles! 🦅✨

Can you find your FUTURE EAGLE?
