UPDATE: The issue has been fixed and the library will open at 9 AM as usual! As librarians, that's what we like to call a false or fictional alarm 🚨

The Orem Public Library will be closed this morning (Wednesday, May 20) due to a fire alarm issue. We will update this post when the library is open.

UPDATE: The issue was quickly fixed and the Library will open at 9am as usual.

The Orem Public Library had a fire alarm issue late last night and fire inspectors and technicians are working on the problem. The Library will be closed until the issue is fixed. We will update this post as soon as the Library is open again.

The Orem Library Makerspace will be closed on Friday, April 24th, for maintenance and staff training. During this time, Makerspace items can be returned to the front Circulation Desk. Normal hours will resume on Saturday, April 25th.
