Story Time - Foxes

Our story time on Tuesday will feature foxes.

We will read Ferdinand Fox’s First Summer by Mary Holland and do some fox related activities.

If you and or your kids have seen foxes and want to share stories or pictures that would be wonderful.

The Free Library has a variety of both hand-held and stand-up tools to use for your spring gardening chores.

These include cultivators, an edger and specialty weeding tools.

Join us at the Free Library May 3 from 3:00-5:00 p.m. for a
special jewelry making event in honor of Mother's
Day, where we will explore the world of repurposing jewelry.

Do you have a previously loved but rarely worn piece, possibly from your mom? Or perhaps some broken jewelry, or just a piece or two that has "potential" but never seems to work with anything? Would you like to take these and make both a memory and a unique gift that is literally one of a kind?

Come with your mom or child, or on your own to make something
special for them or in honor of them.

The story time on April 21 will feature frogs and vernal pools.

We will read "The Secret Pool" by Kimberely Ridley and two National Geographic Kids books: "Tadpole to Frog" and "Frogs."

We will also make paper jumping frogs.

Kanopy free streaming service Launch Party this Friday!

Join the Orford Free Library in kicking off our Kanopy streaming service for OFL patrons with Movie Night this Friday at 6:30 p.m.

We will have a short demo of the Kanopy platform, including the unlimited Kanopy Kids service!

Then it is time for popcorn, movie candy, and a showing of a family-friendly movie (we cannot say the name in advertising but you may have a new favorite mollusk!).

Feel free to bring a comfy chair or bean bag if you like - we will have seating as well.
