NOTICE TO ORLAND TOWNSHIP RESIDENTS

The Village of Orland Park has notified Orland Township that it is considering the annexation of unincorporated property located near 153rd Street and 108th Avenue.

A public hearing has been scheduled where residents will have the opportunity to learn more about the proposed annexation and its potential impact on the surrounding area.

Transparency matters. Residents deserve timely information about proposals that could affect their community.

I encourage everyone with an interest in this matter to review the attached notice and stay engaged throughout the public process.

Supervisor Paul O’Grady is calling for a Special Town Meeting to allow voters to decide on restoring the Cook County Sheriff’s Police contract in Orland Township.

Today I’m sharing the passing of my uncle, George O’Grady.

He meant a great deal to our family, and we are grateful for the time, memories, and guidance he shared with us over the years.

Thankful for all the Orland Fire Protection District Firefighters and their families for volunteering today at the annual Orland Township gift and food distribution day.

Remembering Robin who did sooo much for those less fortunate in our community.

The Santa volunteer if my old Police Officer partner Chris Kringle Harris from the Sheriff’s Police.

We’re missing someone who meant so much to the heart of Orland Township.

Robin was a friend, a colleague, and one of the most dedicated people I’ve ever had the privilege to work with. Her compassion showed in everything she did—but nowhere more than in the way she led our Holiday Giveaway efforts year after year.

She made sure every family in need was treated with care, kindness, and dignity.

Robin may be gone, but the legacy she leaves behind is alive in every meal served, every coat donated, and every smile shared during the holidays. We’re proud to continue this work in her memory.

Rest in peace, Robin. Your heart lives on in this community.

This Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for making our community the extraordinary place it is.

Throughout the year, I’ve witnessed acts of kindness, generosity, and service—neighbors stepping up for one another, volunteers showing up in big ways, and families doing their best to support each other through the ups and downs of life. It’s this spirit that makes Orland Township not just where we live, but truly a place we all belong.

As we gather around the table with loved ones—or reflect in quiet moments—I hope we all feel the strength and unity of this community. I’m grateful for the opportunity to serve as your Supervisor, and I’m committed to continuing to work for every resident in every corner of our township.
