Regarding the following👇🏻, I couldn’t agree more.
On attendence, kids tell me regularly “I only came to school today because I have to finish my project.”
On confidence, witnessing humans tangibly achieve what they did think was possible is our honor,.
On creative thinking and academic, “artful thinking” is a super power, I could go on for days…
But learning how to think around an idea, develop an idea, explore thoughts and the unknown….where else to people get this opportunity than an art class.

Art is essential in high school for fostering holistic development, enhancing academic performance, and nurturing critical skills necessary for future success.
It boosts creativity, self-esteem, empathy, and collaboration while providing a vital outlet for stress reduction and personal expression.
Arts education also leads to higher GPA, improved SAT scores, and better attendance.
