CCLT is a community land trust located in Hancock county Maine. Our purposes are:
1. To restore the spiritual and physical relationship between our human community and the land;
2. To acquire land; to preserve and protect the land, as stewards of a sacred land trust; to conserve its resources, and maintain its ecological balance;
3. To make land available to individuals, families, groups and the
general public – especially to those in greatest need – for uses consistent with the health of the land, and the welfare of the general community;
4. To provide for a just distribution of natural resources and the fruits of the land;
5. To educate one another of the land trust community, and the general public, in common stewardship of the land; and to develop a network of cooperation and mutual aid.
