Are you riding release high with us unhinged chaos coven members? You should be!

It takes talent to write trauma so thoroughly. We pick up in the aftermath of Book of Azrael and man is it full force. It was so cathartic to be able to see Dianna experience all of her feelings without being rushed or glossed over. No emotion was unturned.

Samkiel is a spicy cinnamon roll who recognized that Di was working through hurt and trauma. That she was NOT a Summary of the things she did because of the things that had been done to her. He was unwavering in his support. Never caved to the s**t others spoke. Stuck up for her. Immediately changed his behavior when she pointed out how it hurt her and just all around had faith in her. Faith in his feelings for her and in hers for him.

We get new POVs that truly tie everything together, flesh everything out, and give us more story than I could have imagined. No character is simply good or bad - which is the way of life. This makes it so easy to allow me to feel I am immersed into the world that is created for us.
