Orange GOP leadership attended The Libre Initiative Orlando ribbon cutting ceremony yesterday. The LIBRE Initiative is a right-leaning, non-profit organization founded in 2011 to promote free-market economic policies and limited government principles specifically within the U.S. Hispanic community.

Also in attendance was Gary Berrios working with Senator Rick Scott and Orange County School Board candidates Marisol Lugo, District 2, and David Shepard, District 1.

The actions taken on June 6th, 1944, by our American military went above and beyond the call of duty. The stakes were high and the courage found in each and every one of them signaled the beginning of renewed freedom for the world. Their legacy is evident in the American freedom we know today.

📢 Rep. Stark secured $7,640,683 in the 2026 state budget to fund key projects that directly impact residents in House District 47.

These investments include:
• Improving flood prevention and protecting our environment through major waterway and vegetation cleanup projects
• Expanding and upgrading courthouse facilities to better serve the community
• Supporting seniors with enhanced connected care services
• Investing in public safety through advanced alerting systems
• Strengthening re-entry programs with improved safety and security resources for the Transition House
• Enhancing community spaces like Hopkins Park Community Center
• Providing innovative therapy services for veterans at McCormick Research Institute

💼 These projects reflect a strong commitment to healthier communities and a better quality of life for District 47.

The Orange GOP is keeping Orange County Mayor Jerry L. Demings and his family in our prayers following his announcement that he has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. While we may stand on different sides of the political aisle, moments like this remind us that life, health, and family come first.

We wish Mayor Demings strength, healing, and a full recovery as he begins this battle. Please join us in praying for Mayor Demings, his wife Val, and their entire family during this time.

Today marks the first day of the 2026 Atlantic Hurricane Season. As Floridians, we are familiar with the damage hurricanes and tropical storms can bring. Now is the time to prepare.

It’s important to begin assembling an emergency supply kit with essential items your family may need in the event of a storm or other emergency. The Florida Division of Emergency Management offers valuable resources, including the Disaster Supply Kit Checklist, to help families build an emergency kit and develop a plan before severe weather arrives.
