Valencia College's School of Public Safety is offering basic firefighter certification courses as well as topic-specific technical training programs to help advance and improve skills and knowledge. Our programs focus on current trends, topics, and equipment used throughout the industry. Classes are delivered by experienced professionals from the field. Most courses can customize to meet the speci

fic needs of any agency. Discounts are offered to all Central Florida Fire Academy consortium member agencies and their firefighters. Please contact us with your questions. Courses start throughout the year and are not tied to the college's semester schedule. Programs will satisfy many certifications continuing education (CEU) requirements

On Friday, we hosted our Legacy Event at a place that meant so much to so many. This fireground wasn’t just a training site—it was where skills were built, careers were launched, and lifelong friendships were formed.

Generations of firefighters have walked these grounds, pushed themselves here, and carried what they learned into real-world service. The memories made here will always be part of who we are.

While this location may be closing, the mission continues. We’re moving forward to various locations, bringing the same dedication, tradition, and passion with us.

Thank you to everyone who trained, taught, and gave a piece of themselves to this place over the years. The address may change—but the legacy doesn’t! More pics to follow…

A bittersweet moment closing out a chapter that meant a lot to so many.
