We are launching into a new school year and want to introduce our first Students of the Month for August! 🎉 These incredible kids have gone above and beyond to show what citizenship is all about in our school community.

For elementary students, citizenship means more than just knowing about community—it’s practicing it every single day. It looks like:

Being a reliable helper: Taking care of shared classroom materials, cleaning up spaces without being asked, and looking out for younger students.

Practicing kindness and inclusion: Welcoming new classmates, inviting others to join games at recess, and treating everyone with respect.

Showing responsibility: Following school rules, taking ownership of mistakes, and understanding how individual choices impact the whole group.

Working together: Being a great teammate during group projects and solving minor conflicts with words rather than frustration.

Only ONE week until Meet the Teacher--Thursday, August 6th, 5:30-7:00pm. We can't wait to see all our families return and meet new families! I just noticed at Dollar Tree that they have headphones for only $5.00. All students need a pair of headphones so I wanted to share the information with you. Meet the Teacher is a great time to bring in student supplies so you have one less thing to worry about on the first day of school. Go dolphins!!!!
