HOPWA Housing Assistance
The Housing Opportunity for People Living With AIDS (HOPWA) Program funded from the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) helps increase housing stability, reduce risk of homelessness and increase access to care for people living with HIV who have an income at or below 80% of area median income. Orange County Government administers Central Florida’s HOPWA Program for the City of Orlando and contracts with local organizations to provide different levels of housing support to eligible clients.
