This isn't just a business to us. It's a mission.
Over the past several months, Jay and I have poured our hearts into building ATW Independent Living Services.
We've made countless phone calls.
We've sent countless emails (only to recently discover many were landing in spam folders).
We've walked into agency after agency hoping to speak directly with case managers.
We've passed out flyers throughout our community.
We've listened to the stories of individuals experiencing homelessness and housing instability.
We've adjusted our policies, refined our program, and continuously improved based on what we've learned in the field—not from behind a desk, but from real conversations with real people.
One thing has become incredibly clear:
There are good people working in our community who genuinely want to help, but the need is greater than the resources available. Case managers are carrying overwhelming caseloads.
Affordable housing is scarce. Income requirements keep many deserving people from qualifying for traditional housing.
That is exactly why ATW Independent Living Services exists.
We didn't start this company to compete with community agencies.
We started it to bridge the gap.
To be another option.
To be another phone call a case manager can make.
To be another door that opens when too many others have closed.
Today, we have 2 immediate bed openings for adults age 30+ with guaranteed monthly income (SSI, SSDI, VA benefits, retirement, pensions, or other qualifying income).
If our current beds fill, don't be discouraged. We are actively building a waiting list because our vision doesn't stop with one house. As demand grows, our goal is to continue opening additional homes so we can serve even more individuals throughout our community.
